Perry Belcher breaks it down plain and simple on how you use social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Think of it as going to a party he says... :)

Very Informative
This is really good information to know when it comes to growing your business and your reputation. I agree with you that no one wants to hear about an opportunity up front.
Fantastic
Hi Perry,
You explained it well. I kept to about 4 social networking. My greatest challenge is time and I am the only one maintaining my blog.

Perry,
This movie is great! It is like ESPN for Network Marketers! I know how many folks out there can relate to your narrative style and I know how much they will appreciate this.

Party People
Should everyone come to your house though? To me this seems like an open invitation for others trying to market their ideas to try and get me as a customer. To keep a good status with the "friends" you would have to decline invitations for other business opportunities, does that ruin any reputation you have?
What is the time frame you are talking about here too? I would say it takes at least a few months of showing your face in many ares for people to get to trust you. A VERY time consuming ordeal. You did not mention that. I mean you do not just sign up on myspace and start making money by getting lots of friends. It is better to have several DIFFERENT myspace accounts, because no one takes someone seriously that has thousands of friends. Ii is more productive if you have 5 myspace accounts each with no more than 60 friends or so. Each with different cliches. Also be careful and do not advertise to people, your account can be temporary suspended. You want to respond to them, then make them come look for your information. Then you answer questions.
If someone wants to be my friend on myspace I check the profile, if I like it, I add them to be on my list of friends. If the myspace website they made up is a quick job I dont add them as my friend because I know the next eamil I get from that person will be about whatever they are trying to sell me. If however they have something USEFUL to me on their site, something I look back for, for instance; (scripture of the day) I may not want to add a scripture of the day to my webpage because it takes my page longer to load, and not everyone that has the internet has a fast connection. I will add that person as a friend to my myspace page so that I can go back to the website later to get the joke of the day, quote of the day, scripture of the day.
Wishing you all a safe happy holiday season,

Myspace? Really...WOW!
Myspace is way 5 minutes ago! Twitter is growing at 1M users a week, Facebook Peeps make oup 40% of the internet population and the average user is on 1.3 hours per day, YouTube gets 10X more veiws every day than all three TV networks combined...Yep probably a waste of time! Sorta like the wheel - P
If Myspace is 5, then AOL......must be 1/2 an hour!
Myspace was a example. I am aware there are many ways to "party" online.
AOL is much older, but how many people still use it? Why? Think on that for a minute.
The answer is pretty simple.
1.AOL & Myspace are comfortable to many internet users.
2.These sites are user friendly, advertise well, and have excellent parental control.
3.There are people who fear change so they stick with what is famillar to them.
