My 2nd Video...

Hi,

This is my version of discipline!

Mike Dillard had a Testimonial Video competition recently in June/July 2009, so I thought I would submit an entry.

I had just discovered my little $88 Samsung Digital Camera took 2 min videos & I had just mucked around the day before & made a little video, much to my delight. You can see it here www.greenerpowernow.com  I am a newbie to the net & a bit of a greenie.

I was so excited, as this freed me from a bunch of "Perfectionitis" whereby I felt I had to have a full recording studio & production crew like Steven Spielberg to make successful videos.

So I disciplined myself to do it,  fighting a game of mental ping pong...will it work?...will I submit it? will it be OK? & so on.

Long story short, I did it, learned heaps through the actions I took, DID actually submit it & received a prize book for my efforts!

Naaahh, I did not win the competition, but I did win my own race. I overcame one of the biggest diseases of growth...Perfectionitis.

Now, I can go after Steven S!

Uhmmmm...not quite yet by the look of things. Looks like I lost the video somewhere in space. I'll try another one & see if I can transplant that one OK!
