"I Can't Do Nuthin' For Ya Son" (True Grit and Think and Grow Rich)

I recently watched the movie True Grit with Jeff Bridges (classic Jeff Bridges!), Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and this great, young, new actress named Hailee Steinfeld. I realized, about 15 minutes into the movie, that many of the principles in the book Think and Grow Rich were being played out in the movie. If you have been on the fence about seeing this movie — see it! It is definitely worth it.

Mattie Ross had great courage, gumption and did not take the word “no” from anyone. When we’re going against the grain, aka not following the 40 year plan, we need the same courage. This flick was a great reminder on what it takes to build something out of nothing, brick-by-brick.

Plus it had a few great one-liners that I cannot stop saying
