Expand your comfort zones. I

Expand your comfort zones. I was told a long time ago if you want to be comfortable financially you will need to do things that are uncomfortable.

Many people here build their business on the internet. The problem is they do not pick up the phone and connect with those people. This is something that is uncomfortable for most.

Two Dalits burnt alive after clash over dog
correspondent
HISAR: An argument between a Dalit and a Jat over the former’s dog led to near-unbridled violence in a village in Hisar district which was tense throughout Thursday after an 18-year-old physically challenged Dalit girl and her father were burnt alive on Wednesday.

The Dalits refused to cremate the bodies, demanding a CBI probe and compensation, apart from sacking of the Jat tehsildar of Mirchpur village where the violence began. Angry demonstrators also protested in front of the Civil Hospital where post-mortem was conducted on the girl, Suman, and her father, Tara Chand.

Colours of discrimination
Harsh Mander

Dalit literature of our times, born out of lived experience and art, is a significant contribution both to the collective social conscience and to our notions of aesthetics.

The best of art for me is that which speaks — in various forms and voices — of the lives of dispossessed people, of the ways they live, cope and overcome; and of dreams and visions of a better, fairer, kinder world.
Among the most moving reminiscences of a dispossessed childhood that I have encountered, for instance, are in a new genre of Dalit autobiographies. Close to my heart is Sharankumar Limbade's autobiography Akkarmashi. Limbade begins with memories of a school picnic to a forest near his village.

VISAKHAPATNAM: A Dalit woman sarpanch staged a protest near Ambedkar's statue at LIC junction here on Wednesday to protest against the delay in initiating action against village elders who have been belittling her.

Deva Arjamma of Geddapalem panchayat of S. Rayavaram mandal in the district was elected Sarpanch on a Congress ticket three-and-a-half years ago. Some leaders and party activists were reportedly preventing her from occupying the chair since then as she belonged to the Dalit community.

I agree with you

I whole heartedly agree with you Chris - "The problem is they do not pick up the phone and connect with those people." Sometimes, all it takes is a few minutes on the phone.

Overcoming fear

Wow Terry thanks so much for posting this great interview with Jonathan Budd. The topic that was covered here, overcoming fear, is absolutely one which we all need to battle on. I loved the way Jonathan brought out the point of doing whatever is uncomfortable anyway and the fear will dissipate! I hope that you will do a followup interview some time soon!

To your success

Terry's Interview with Jonathan Budd

Thanks Terry for the great interview with Jonathan. It was totally awesome and to the point, which is, learning to deal with our fears. The number one reason why so many if not most people fail in this business is because they do not know how to deal with their fears. So many times one may be only a click away from knowing how to do what it takes. Hopefully this interview showed those on the brink of failure how to overcome their fears. Keep up the good work both Jonathan and Terry. Hope to see another video of you two again soon.

Really enjoyed the interview with Jonathan Budd!

Great video. Jonathan has such a relaxed and cool demeanor about him ... he's so zenful. He's right on about not making money a #1 priority. If you focus on doing what you're really gungho about and by giving first, you'll eventually get, and the success will follow.

The problem is most people don't know what they're gungho about!

I love Jonathan

He is such an inspiration. I just listen to an exclusive call with him and his team where he talked about satisfaction and how it doesn't come from anything money can buy...but from within ourselves. It was a revolution for me...He's definitely a true mentor and leader in this industry.
