You Pay A Coach, You EARN A Mentor & Mentorship is Priceless.

Here are my thoughts on the difference between hiring a coach, and earning a mentor.

I hear people talking about mentors, and I believe that many do not understand the difference between a coach and mentor.

True mentorship is earned. I share my thought process and how I EARNED a mentor, by taking action, getting noticed, and serving my mentor.

The knowledge and invaluable training my mentor has given me over the past almost 3 years cannot be bought, and through my experience personally, I see how rare a true mentorship is, and how incredibly powerful and special.

If you're looking for a mentor, someone to take you under their wing, you have to take action to gain their attention, and then serve them.

In order to truly experience MENTORSHIP.

Shout this one...

...From the mountaintops, Kristen!

TRUE mentorship is a rare and precious
relationship.

Wish more people know what a real mentor is.

Hint: It's not someone you "buy"

You Cannot Buy A Mentor!

Wow, no one talks about this Kristen. People are confused about those two terms and I love it that you explain it in this video!
Get a coach and pay them to teach you how to build your business, but earn the mentorship through action and work.

I use to work as a business

I use to work as a business coach. The company would charge as much as $20,000. You may have even seen internet marketer call you offering personal coaching for the same price.

I like what you said about a coach and a mentor.

Mentoring

I agree with you, it is earned. If you don't take action and complete your goals and tasks, why would anyone, you must be your own mentor to gain a mentor..

Kristen... love it

Kristen,

This is great advice too everyone. especially if you're not in a financial situation to hire a coach for $500 an hour. Joining someone's team and earning their attention and some of their time is priceless. GREAT VIDEO!

Awesome Leadership Kristen.

Mentorship Is The Key

Your thoughts are the foundation to our industry Kristen! Paying a coach only goes as far as the bill while earning mentorship lasts a lifetime.

Coach is valuable, Mentor is priceless

Hi Kristen,

Great video and awesome info. Thanks for sharing.

I like to think of it from a sporting perspective. A coach will help you will all the knowledge and skills but they haven't necessarily been where you want to be. They are definitely valuable, but at the end of the day, you pay for their services in some way. A mentor on the other hand is someone who has been where you want to get, and has the experience under their belt. Their time is valuable, and to get a part of that, you must definitely prove yourself.

I like the way you point out how you earned Diane's attention...definitely taking some notes.

Thanks again for sharing.

Michael
