I love SB. Went to SB high for a bit, transferred to La Cuesta, step mom threw me out when I was 15, got my GED and an apartment on De La Vina (mmmm Chubbies) ... the rest is history.
Used to surf the point at UCSB, hendrys, la conchita, rincon and the tar pits in Carpenteria.
One of my all time favorite memories was hearing Santana at the bowl. Damn that was a great show!
Wow ... talking about it makes me miss the lifestyle alot. I'll probably wind up buying a condo there someday. My wife's only been there once and I haven't taken my boys yet. I heard a lot has changed since I lived there.
