Now Let’s Begin

Now you have set up your office, organised your schedule, plugged into your system and are communicating with your mentor. It is time to start building your business!

If you imagine when you are learning to swim there comes the time to get into the water and apply what you have learned. Yes there is fear and you are definitely stepping out of your comfort zone. Expect this and stay out of your comfort zone until you feel comfortable.

The Cycle of Success

The cycle of success are three elements that you will grow in each time you go round them. The three elements are:

1. Discipline

2. Skill set

3. Belief

Discipline

We start the cycle with discipline. You are forming a productive habit that you will do repeatedly. You will be ready for work on time as per your schedule and you will do the necessary work to gain customers and new team members.

You will start your work day with preparation, firstly the mind, you will start with personal development and ensure that your mind is set and in the right place. Next your exercise and shower, followed by a good nutritional breakfast. It is a great idea to develop an affirmation in line with your goals and to speak to yourself in the mirror. These include your goals for today and your longer term goals for the year.

You will know the number of people you need to contact and to talk to, to achieve the result you need according to the plan you and your mentor have agreed upon. You will be crystal clear on the activity you need to do to get the result for the day. You will eagerly get the tasks done knowing that you will enjoy the rewards of fulfilling the goals for the day and enjoy the sense of achievement. Knowing if you fulfill each days goals you will reach your yearly goal and enjoy sweet success.

Skill Set

Your skills will develop over time do not be hard on yourself and give yourself plenty of time. Do practice each day what you will say to gain a customer and what you will say to gain a new team member. Fully understand each step that you need to take.

Your organizational skills for instance will increase to the point of never  missing an appointment or team call or event. You will increase your skill of time management and your confidence will grow in talking to people and knowing how to handle objections and closing the sale.

As the days go by and as you hone each skill in your business it all becomes easier and easier.

Belief

Your belief in what you are doing and why you are doing is fundamental to success. Each of the four belief areas need to be checked and fed daily. You need belief in your company, belief in your products, belief in your mentor/system and belief in yourself.

On the company keep abreast of all the latest news, know the history, know the leaders and know the strengths of your company over your competition.

On the products you need to use them yourself and know and believe in your heart that these products will help everyone out there. That you NEED to get the message out so you can help other people discover how incredible the product is.

On the system and mentor. To have an unwavering belief that your mentor is there for you no matter what. That your mentor is as eager if not more for your success. That you can trust your mentor implicitly so that you don’t hesitate to follow your mentors lead and you more than do what your mentor says. That you sing the praises of the support system in place and even use it as a selling point

Belief in yourself is fundamentally important and it is vital that you keep up daily personal development to ensure that all negative thoughts and doubts are driven far away. This is the battle that needs to be fought and won. Practice in every area of your life to be positive and only say positive things both to yourself and whenever you speak. At first it is a good idea to fully take on your mentor’s belief until it is your own.

Finally you will find yourself revisiting each of these elements in order, discipline, skill set and belief. Review this each day and you will find yourself forming habits that will not only pay you well but lead to your success.
