Managing Your State
Today I want to talk about the important topic of managing your state. If your goal is to reach financial freedom and to create a strong and powerful income stream from the internet – you need to know how to manage your state.
To reach your goal you will have to go through a lot of people saying no and rejecting your opportunity. It is vitally important that you do not allow this to affect you negatively in any way. It is important to bear in mind that they are not rejecting you, but your offer. Be confident in who you are and what it is you are offering.
Always be prepared, always do your best invitation ever to take a look. Always wear a smile and always be calm. Do twice as much listening as you do talking and strive to build a strong rapport with the person you are talking to. When they say no always wish them well strongly and make them feel good about their decision even though it is not in your favor.
Remember often the no comes because the timing is not right, do not be afraid of asking if you can follow up with them sometime in the future and would it be alright to keep them on your mailing list.
Always be professional, always speak well of everyone and let your speech only contain positive words. Continually show that you care about their results and seek to help them with whatever issue they have. Do not be afraid of turning a prospect down if you judge them to be unqualified…remember this will serve you and them for the best. If you do turn them down let them know if they are open to hearing what it is they need to do to qualify.
When it comes to your team, your goal is to always build them up and encourage them. Clearly project the vision, clearly project the belief you have in each one of them that they can succeed! The stronger they feel that you believe in them the more they will achieve. Be disciplined in the amount of time you are on the phone. Let no unfruitful time pass by! Always give them a call to action that will continually challenge and stretch them to achieve more success.
Do not be afraid of being a mentor and to have those hard talks with your team members! Speak in clear terms and tell them exactly what will happen if they do not change or do what you say must be done for success. Be prepared to fight hard for your team’s success – it is worth it both for you and for your team!
Finally continue to strive to grow…by reading and listening to personal development and practicing who you want to be. Continually challenge yourself to develop in your areas of weakness and to be humble whenever there is success. Become the attractive person and leader that you know will inspire others.
To your success
