This video "The Myth Of The Upline" is dedicated to all the hard-working upline leaders who have put their heart and soul into support their team.

One of the biggest secrets to my breaking industry records and becoming the #1 earner of my primary company at the time was the culture that was instilled in my team.

"Creating wealth while having a life."

For the last 6 months or so, I've been devoting much time, money, physical and emotional energy into transforming Priority Team into a revolutionary tool that essentially outsources most, if not all, of the training and support required to grow your network marketing business,

24/7,

day-in and day-out,

with or without YOU!

So that you can minimize the time spent doing busy work, and spend it with your loved ones or to tend to other priorities in your life.

E-Myth for MLM

I love E-Myth as you know Tom it was created for small businesses and I too have used in the network marketing industry in order to provide time freedom.

By using E-Myth in network marketing our business is working hard for us even though we are not working.

Great tuff!

This is easily one of the most genuine and powerful videos on mindset and building a culture.

Marketing and recruiting is important... but if the *wrong* culture gets duplicated we've got nothing but trouble!!!

All too true

You need to find the right system with the right infastructure to make it work. One needs to be committed and find like minded people. Just finding bodies doesn't work.

Great stuff, Tom!

Been there, where I was running a big postcard recruiting system all by myself. Worked myself to death only to see the downline fall apart. Excellent advice.

You are so right

You are so right it's all about the system - we all got into owning our own business for two reasons, time and money. I do see many people that are in this industry that spend 70+ hours a week - wierd - ! Good video Thank you for sharing !

Robert Strong — Fri, 04/16/2010 - 10:59am

Right on!!!

I completely agree with what you have to say. I am in the process of putting together my own training systems for this very reason. I have seen uplines that are on the phone constantly, walking around with phones stuck to their ears, day planners in their hands, etc.

Honestly, it's not for me and not something I want to do again. Been there, done that. Watched the downline fall apart.

Thanks so much for sharing this valuable information.

Thank you Tom!

That was so, so valuable. I have heard you
many times before, Tom, always taking away much
practical & useful advice.

The video format, however, truly demonstrates
and conveys your honesty, humility, genuine
positive energy, and goodwill.

All of us are blessed to receive your generous
guidance and rare example of integrity in leadership.

You are truly a gem!

With abundant gratitude,

I Think I Found The Aswer To My Post

I'm glad I've watched your video. Thanks for sharing!

There is no substitute...

...for a duplicatable system! I loved the points you made in your video. They reinforced my knowledge that I have found my "home" in network marketing. Thank you, Tom, for sharing your experience and expertise. :-D

The System

Thanks Tom, I appreciate your advice on the duplication subject, you know, you have to take the training wheels off of your kids bike sooner or later and let them learn how to balance themselves on it all by themselves, same is true for new recruits, you have to plug them into a good system that's duplicable, and let the system train them on auto-pilot, totally agree with this approach.

For sure

Having a system where it removes you from the equation of "baby-sitting" it puts our business in a better position.

Plus it encourages the new member to be accountable for their success.

As long as the upline is guiding the new team member to this system, the better everyone will be.

Pure duplication at work. Great reference to the e-Myth book, Michael Gerber certainly knows his stuff very well.

It's one book I have in my library that I read often.

Love the Concept Tom

This is such a necessary mindset Tom. I do believe that there needs to be some personal interaction..and that might just be me, and I love the energy of personally interacting with my team. But a combination of an automated training system with the ability to choose when and how to interact one-on-one or in a team setting, is the perfect scenerio in my book.
