Your Life Is Not Your Own - How Are You Impacting Others?
"Your LIFE is not your own."
You may have a connection to this phrase at different levels.
For some people, it may stir up negative emotions while others would probably agree
wholeheartedly with that statement.
Ultimately, think about this....
What emphasis are you placing on the things, behavior, or actions that you are embracing and
which impact other people and you?, and
What are the implications of interacting with other people?
It may feel like we're on a solo JOURNEY but
in reality there are more people on the road with us than we realize.

Your post reminds me of the six degrees of separation theory. We are all so connected that our behavior impacts so many more than we realize.
Thanks for the thoughts.

Holy Smokes
Even though I know this...
It was still an eye opener to be reminded of the impact we have on others all around us.
And the most crazy thing to me is...
Sometimes we lose sight of the fact they are watching!
Great Perspective
I often think of the late, great Jim Rohn
saying that you are the total of the 5 people
closest to you...
This is the other side of the coin which
reminds us that we're impacting them, too.
Like Shelly Allen mentioned...let's not lose
sight of the fact that they are watching!
So True
That is so true. We really do impact others and we need to be aware of how we are effecting people.
Stir Me Up!
Indeed, Melodie this message is not NEW and
We are bound to impact lots of people whether it's by way of
Michael's mention of 6 degrees of separation or
whether it's Cathie's crew of 5 people!
The Impact is still An Ever Present Reality that can
affect others if the FOCUS moves away from your TRUE Purpose...
It Sure Makes You THINK or echo Shelly's comment...
HOLY SMOKES!
Thanks for your thoughts!
Great Video!
I like this article! It reminds me that I am responsible to other people whether I know it or not. When I ride my motorcycle I am identified as a motorcyclist and I must ride as a responsible individual and promote motorcycle safety at all times.
It's all about the Butterfly effect
If a butterfly flaps its wings in Africa - The effect is felt around the world
Likewise, when we impact another persons day that will affect how they interact with others
So Think about that and Go Make It a Great Day for someone!

Have a Blessed Day,
Danny & Laura
Have always felt that way!
One of the reasons I ended up in the career I chose is because I knew it wasn't about me, but rather how I impacted others.
Plus,as others have stated- people are paying attention to you whether you like it or not!
We're like the pebble thrown into a lake, with ripples going outward, those ripples can be positive or negative- it's up to you!
Moments Like These
Moments like these remind us just how much we all do make an impact on the world around us. Moments like these makes us realize just how short life really is. Moments like these remind us how bless we are and how our hearts need to go out to others. Yes, it's up to you! Moments of Choices. Thank you for making that real. Take care, suebell

So true Miriam;
I shop at the same grocery store every week, and there is a cashier there who I see every other time I am there. She was extremely stressed with an aggravated customer one time I was there, and when I got up to her she looked at me smiled and asked how I was and I said I was good, and then I said to her you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen, and she truly does, she actually blushed as she quickly glanced at me and said thank you. I thought how sad it is that this made her a little uneasy, but you know what, the following week I went in and was at her till, she greeted me she was happy and remember me by name. So I do believe I had an impact on her and made her feel important, because it really wasn't about me...

Hi Miriam,
Well said...it all starts with us, but, it's not about us.
Peace!

Hi Miriam!
When we develop the habit of adding increase to others, it
becomes clear the responsibility we have to others and the
connection that develops. In a manner of speaking we are our
brothers keeper. Good job Miriam...Tom

Excellent video
Thank you for sharing your insights from the seminar. When we help others it comes right back to us. We are all connected.
Thanks Miriam
Very well spoken from your heart. Helping and serving others is such a wonderful feeling. It is like planting seeds, the payback in blessings is many times over the effort given.
