Is your Why Broken? Network Marketing Focus !

For many network marketers the cause of failure is much easier to pinpoint than most people think. Sadly it is actually the same for many areas of life. The root cause is commonly an unclear sense of focus and direction. Not having a very clear Why. Not focusing on the end result, but rather the short term assignments. So my question is, Is your Why big enough? Where is your Network Marketing Focus today?

Another clear example I would like to use is one from a conversation with a young helper of mine when I was in the construction business. This Kid was bright, hard working, fairly responsible and the new father of twins. He was very new to the industry and had started at the strong back weak mind entry pay level. The conversation was something like this.

“Hey Neil how much do you make?”

“I make $32.50 an hour.”

“Wow, all I need is $13.00 and I’ll be set for life.”

“Whoa! Let me tell you something, You are 24 and have two new babies, you had better be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. You had better be looking for a $75.00 per hour job or you can count on struggling forever. Don’t let the focus of your dreams be on your immediate needs so much as the future you will live in when you expect to live those dreams.”

Two years in the business, and I am proud to say, my young protégé is actually at supervisory level I was at when we had that conversation.

The problem with a small dream is that, when it’s reached and we feel successful, unconsciously we begin to settle in and not strive for more. Now as marketer’s this happens when our Network Marketing Focus is limited to building a down line or focusing on the team building only.

To quote Ray Higdon “If Your Dreams Are Small, Your Results Will be Small Too.”

With this said, to create the dreams and begin to manifest them into reality you must have the proper vehicle to achieve them. If you are serious about your dreams, and have thoroughly come to the decision to reach them, then there is only one vehicle of choice.
