Fantastic Video Perry

thank you for your video I totally agree with tranperancy and was told by my web company to never put personal details on my sites etc, I completely ignored them. I want people to contact me I want to be real and personable in this very unpersonably cyber world. Great stuff

Regards

Interesting twist on pivacy

Good video and an interesting twist on privacy and belief in yourself and what you're doing.  How open do you get and still protect yourself from some of the unbalanced out there?  In any case, your video really makes one reconsider the whole approach.

I like it.

That is a refreshing point of view.

A little more transparency might cut down on the scams.

I Couldn't Agree More

Perry

Why can't others understand this.  This is Social Networking.  Locking the door to your business is not very social.  There will always be the nuts out there but there aren't that many that we can't deal will them.  I haven't watched all your videos but this is the best one I have seen.  Thanks for saying it. It means a lot more coming from someone at your level than someone just starting out.  I hope others follow your lead..thanks again

Paradigm Shift

Perry

This was a paradigm shift and very true with today's technology. Thanks for this fresh perspective.

I especially connected with the part on Legacy. Our ggggg grandchildren will see what we do. WOW. I would love to have more insite into my ggg grandparents. Maybe when people fully understand this they will think before they act knowing that their kids will know.

Soooooo True

We all have to move from fear to freedom and that means open access in communication which translates into integrity.

We are one family after all.

Leave privacy for your bank account access.

I 'm with ya!

Great message from the heart. And thats what is so great about building relationships with people and all working for a common goal. Just be yourself and a true networker and have fun.

Right on!

Great video Perry,

I just have to say one thing for people that have a problem with privacy, don't leave your information! This is what social media is all about building realationships and exchaging infromation.

What a great valuable video

What a great valuable video Perry, thank you! It reminded me how that transparency you were talking about is important. Being social is also being transparent and that's what is social media about. I personally must get into it more.

Social Media Simplicity

Perry totally gets social media by using simplicity marketing.  When promoting "You Inc" you should always be transparent. As usual great info from "The Bad Ass Marketer"

Social Media Transparancy

Perry,

Just cought the video. Great stuff. I'm very new to this Social Media stuff and you've given me more courage to just be me. I'm here to promote me, as in You Inc. you know where that comes from. Looking forward to your next video with Mike

I Totally Agree!!

Social Networking is changing by the day!  Thanks for the great advice.

Agreed!

I agree. Using my brick and mortar as an example, I am 100% available to my patients 24/7 (if I hear the phone ring). I have had very few people take advantage of the situation. My cell phone is at the end of my office phone message, and I can count on one hand the number of times I have had people call me at odd hours, and to the best of my recollection, only gotten one or two phone calls that were of the "I need to change my appointment" type that could have waited until the next day. Most of the time they are in dire need to speak with me right away. I suspect this policy has created more appreciation on their part than it has inconvenience on my part.

Thanks for the high value video.

Transparency

Perry,

You hit it again. If people feel really participate in this manner, less people will get away with ripping people off. And rip off artists will go out of business, where they need to be... or change.

Thank you!!!

"Privacy Sucks in Social Media"

Hello Perry, great video, and I'm happy to see such positive responses from others who have watched it. I have ALWAYS put my personal information just so that people can call me and ask questions or just to chat.

Yes, sometimes you have individuals who DON"T realize that area code 253, or that Tacoma Washington is on the West Coast, and on PST who want to call you at 3AM and want to talk about  why does the moon have so many craters? :-(

But, other than that I have personally had good people call at decent hours just to chat. I believe we are all professionals here, and we should be more SOCIABLE and VISIBLE on this SOCIAL MEDIA  Party!!!

PS: I do not respond very well at 3AM!!! So, if your puppy ran away at this time, simply make some fliers and grab a staple gun, and start posting those telephone poles. Hopefully you will call me AFTER 9AM with little FooFoo in your arms.... :-)

Passion

I love it!! Only do something you are passionate about. It's so true. If you are passionate about it, it is the most fun you have ever had!! You wake up everyday and can't wait to do whatever it is that you do!!

If everyone loved what they do, imagine what a happy world we would live in.
