How I Do a Follow up Call in Network Marketing
Follow up is one of the most critically important elements that leads to success in selling.
In network marketing and direct selling…follow up is obviously important, since both of those are SALES models.
People often think that network marketing is simply about "sharing" information with others, when in all reality it is a sales business. While information is shared, as it is in many sales situations…it IS a selling game, therefore require follow up.
People are often confused as to exactly HOW to conduct a follow up call in network marketing. Let me set the record straight and tell you exactly how it is done.
First of all, you MUST follow up if you ever expect success in the network marketing or MLM.
Business comes to those who seek it, not those who wait for it. So…the first rule is that you DO follow up. Don't sit around waiting for the business to come. Go GET the business.
Simple tips for conducting an effective follow up call in network marketing:
- Book a firm appointment ahead of time.
- Show up on time and be professional.
- Ask your prospect if he/she reviewed the information that you directed them to.
- Find out if they have any specific questions that you can address.
- Answer whatever questions you can.
- Bring in an upline leader for support.
- ASK for the business.
- Don't chase them. If they are interested, you'll know it through their actions.
Follow those simple tips and you will find yourself closing more business in anything you're involved in…especially network marketing.

Thanks Todd
I think doing the follow up calls is the hardest.
You have broken it down into simple steps to follow.
Follow up is so important
If you mastered follow up calls you have really mastered a big part of this business.
It is crucial!
Thanks for this great guide!
Excellent!
Thanks Todd,
This video took me back to the early days of my training. My sponsor pounded this into our heads, as I watched you and listened to you, I could literally see and hear her!
This is an excellent tool for us to use with our teams. What an incredible way to easily duplicate the message.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to share with the world the art of follow up.

Upping the Anti...
Oh so true Todd...
Follow up can make the difference...No matter what your business.
It's almost like the Bible verse, "Do unto others". Say what you're gonna do then do it...Ask questions and listen.
Thanks Todd,

Thanks!
Thanks so much for emphasizing the follow up. Lately, I have been doing very well in follow ups. I keep in mind it's all about the relationship and how I can help them. Also, I find that because of the follow up, some people may not have gone through the info yet or maybe didn't get the links. So they really appreciate the follow up call. The only issue I might run into is organizing the calls..

Follow Up Calls
Funny how we sometimes shy away from making those calls and yet, when it is all said and done, we want the outcome every time, just some times we are not prepared to experience the inevitable nos along the way.
As a leader once said, the yes's build my business and the no's build me. Thanks for sharing your experience Todd.
Follow Up Video is Excellent
Dollow up calls can be unpredictible. But you have given me great value. Thanks I feel better and more confident. Thanks for putting this on BN.
Follow Up Is Critical to Success!
Cool stuff! One of the reasons people fail in network marketing is because they choose not to do the follow-up calls thinking they might be rejected. Not knowing, if they don't make the follow-up call, they've already rejected themselves totally by not connecting with their prospect.
Appreciate your video!
Great Guide!
I believe many struggle with the follow up. So thanks for giving a basic guide here. The big point for me was not to get to pushy. Ask your question and LISTEN. It's all about the relationship and how you can help the prospect. The prospect is listening to the old WIIFM. Give them what they want and eventually you will get what you want.
Great Content Todd
As Network Marketers, we get paid for retailing, and Prospecting. If you are not good at it, you need to work it like crazy until you get better. I like the fact that Todd made it so simple for us in this video.
It doesn't mean anything if you have 1,000 leads a day with no conversion.

Follow up Calls
I loved the training on follow up calls, Todd! Amazing simple steps - I will share your audio with my team! It is very important not to chase people down - show them you are the LEADER and they should Chase YOU because you will answer their questions and you will be Honest and Sincere in giving them information about your opportunity. Listening is the hardest thing to do for most people. We all love to hear our OWN voice, but the one who is controlling the conversation is the one Asking the Questions (and of course listening to the answers) Become a BETTER listener and take notes.....This improves Bonding with your prospect also. Find out their Biggest "Why" - Why are they searching to work from home? Do they need to pay bills, need extra money for retirement, or want extra $$ for vacations?
Todd Falcone is amazing! Listen to one of the Best out there!
