Using The Phone is Not an Option in Network Marketing
If you joined an MLM and were told that you did not have to contact people on the phone, you were misled.
Too many people start using internet marketing to promote their MLM thinking that they can rely on the internet to build their downline. They think that they can avoid talking to people on the phone. This is simply not the case.
The internet is a tool, just like any other marketing medium you are using to promote your business. It goal should be to bring qualified prospects to you so you can contact them back and start the process of relationship building.
The biggest problem with people using the phone to promote their MLM opportunity is that they come off sounding like a salesperson and never really connect with the person on the other end of the phone. Remember, if you are using attraction marketing, they opted in to your stuff and invited you to contact them back. If you start off your conversation with a sales pitch you will never be able to build a relationship.
I have put together some helpful tips to help you get on the phone and start building relationships. If you make each call with the right attitude and detach yourself from the outcome you will be on your way to becoming a follow up expert.
Remember, not everyone you talk to will join your opportunity and not everyone you talk to will be a good candidate for your team.
