The bigger enemy
Nice video Jerry, but the "your upline may not want you to see this..." disclaimer is unnecessary. It would be nice if we could all just agree to quit making the upline the enemy. We are the upline too and we only care about helping our teams the best we can. While there are people who have had bad experiences with their upline, most of the time it is not the case. The subconscious impact of the masses hearing this from a multitude of online network marketers is not helping any of us. There are bigger enemies out there for all of us to worry about, starting with a gut check while looking in the mirror. Let's make 2010 the year of fighting the right battles.

Tim - I agree and you'll see in a later video about gut-check.
The "your upline *may* not want you to see this..." disclaimer was there for specific reasons (but I didn't expect BetterNetworker newsletter to make that the headline of this video...).
And by making that statement I am well aware that I'm pointing a finger at those "close-minded" (for lack of better terms) uplines, but FOUR fingers back at myself and of course that open myself up for some criticism... but I can live with that.
The uplines are not the enemy, but they *can* be.
"We are the upline too and we only care about helping our teams the best we can." has a variety of interpretations to different uplines... some of them do so by saying everything else is a scam but what they teach.
I wish all the uplines in the world have the same leadership qualities you have, Tim, but I could only wish and have no way of knowing who does and who doesn't.

Thanks for the great video! I wanted to add that it is so important to build YOU incorporated instead of only acting as a distributor. People follow people more than they follow products etc...so make sure your building yourself as a leader to stay on top!
