One of things I am finding is totally different to what I have been hearing. That you need a major following and how you be in this platform and that. The facts is, working smart is the key.

We don't need big numbers but rather a small following that see your value and they will spread the word to bring in the major hungry following to...YOU! What happens people panick and start opening so may accounts on different platforms that they cannot handle.

It's not smart. So what do you? How can just a few people, or let's say just 40 people spread your words, the value you have, the blog you have, the ebook you gave to someone be known to the globe?

How can it happen with social media? Well, this video I have created reveals how it works and these are steps I am implementing as I speak. I keep refining, asking questions, studying, seeing what really works, and push aside the hype and really look at what we have.

The video will reveal a marketing strategy, that encompasses value, and most of all, how people can really create the critical mass wave in bring the world to you. And done so, by few following. I call this following, the tribe by this name..

'Scouts.'

Scouts are people who look for quality, valuable information and they come from different areas such as facebook, digg, twitter, and other social media platforms. They are hungry and they are hunting for knowledge that is valuable.

The moment they see you got valuable, they first go back to the their own following to ask them to check out your work. They get feed back that "yes, it's hot."

This confirms what they have seen and they all go back to the bigger crowd and tell them. The crowd talks and exchange words, debate on your work. Then...they go to a major global crowd and spread about you to the four corners of the world..online.

This creates a critical mass about your content, your value, your product and a spark of testimonials that is then funneled towards the other platforms. Suddenly, the word is out and attracts major traffic.

Would you rather have lots of numbers of people that do nothing or would you have hungry, following that spread who you are, the value you have, the amazin products that you over delivered to the world?

I think you know the answer. Check out the video for some nuggets.

Social Media Marketing

Hi Adam,

Good information and good video.  As far as I have experienced, it's really hard to get an actual group of large followers or beneficial direct traffic from social sites.  It's easy to get friends, however, the majority of people using socials sites, and I'm talking about sites like Facebook, Mixx, Digg, etc., are simply using these sites for fun; bookmarking what they like, making some friends, and seeing what their friends also like.

In most of these sites, people couldn't care much less about marketing and things like that, and direct traffic has been mostly useless.  I do, however, agree that if you have something of value to offer in these sites and look to build relationships then it would be beneficial for both groups.

Like most online marketers, I like to use social media marketing for backlinks and organic traffic, but they can be useful in other ways.

Adam!

Hey mate ( I learned ;) ),

Great video. Once again you're devliering over the top value!  I am one of the immediate beneficiaries of your generosity and talent.  So I want to thank you publicly!

Thanks for helping out the community and of course my own project.  Time for me to return the favor one way or another :)

Great Idea But .....

Great presentation Adam, but I think I agree more with Dave Early's comments above.

There are parts about this video I have a problem with such as:

How does one know what the needs are from people who are not yet followers? After all, this is how you develop followers right? So how would you even begin to know what they want or need.

The other point is how does just anyone write an ebook that everyone will find so helpful that they go out and tell everyone else about it? Very few have that talent but it is nice to beleive that anyone can do that.

I read a lot of great content on the net and most all of the time I did not tell anyone about it. I may have used it in my business and maybe mentioned it on a training call, but I did not turn around and go out to post it on all the other social sites. Something has to be very good for me to take the time to go out and do that. But at this point, that has been very seldom.

I think the best thing to do on Twitter and other places is to comment on other tweets that you find interesting. This gets others into the conversation and they end up checking you out as well. If they find that you have value that they are interested in, they will follow you. At least that is where my leads have come from so far, a few each day from Twitter alone, when it comes to web 2.0 marketing.

But I loved your presentation and can hear your excitement in your work.
Thanks for taking the time to help others,

Bob Andolina

Thanks And Network...

Thanks everyone. Well, I really appreciate everyone's comment and glad my accent didn't put anyone off lol. Ok, here is what I think..and I'll reply to the questions:

"You must give every man and woman more in use value than he gives you in cash value,"

This is the code I always follow and so, this will come to pass. This is what it means in giving value. Whether it is an ebook, or document or anything. Give more, overdeliver but the person must have value first to do so, and...has the mindset as well, in regards to abundance.

Question or shared comment asked..
As far as I have experienced, it's really hard to get an actual group of large followers or beneficial direct traffic from social sites.

The key is not actual group of large followers. Focus on quality. This means, network with people who are giving value and who you can relate to and who can relate to you, and are in the same industry, and certain niche. There is enough for everyone.

Network with them, not the masses who follow and talk about friendship, friendship. Yes, great, make friends but let's get real too. We're here to make money. So, network with these people of few. Let's say 5 people who even have let's say their own followers of 300 or 500.

Discuss with them on twitter, facebook, and I mean real down ground discussion, to help each other. This alone creates a buzz. Then together, test things out, and combine your efforts in creating a medium to reveal the results.

When you work TOGETHER, each one will be determined to pass this work to their..followers. And it can be just 5 people working together who just met, got to know each others. This makes business more exciting. Leaders...always...network and work together for the common good and goal, and realisation of each other's dreams.

They will syndicate your work, your articles, your videos to their followers and you do the same because it is in your benefit due to the work is part of you too.

Like Digg for example, although I don't use it yet. You network with one person who has 600 friends. You got to know him, and he knows you. You're pals now but you both are serious entrepreneurs. Together you discuss, engage and you work out a plan. You make something happen.

So, he diggs your work oneday, and it goes to his 600 followers. These 600 followers spread to their followers and...the catalyst happens.  This takes your article to top rank in google. And you haven't even done SEO, you haven't done...any social media kicking off with 3 accounts.

It's just one person, networking with online.

People that article or blog post and they click on it,, go to your blog, opt-in to your capture page. Hence, don't follow the hype. This is what many don't want to share mate. They hoo haa about social media and get loads of numbers. Bah. Forget loads of followers.

Have few followers of quality and together, as a mastermind group work, help each other and network online. THEN...you'll benefit. You and I and everyone succeeds when we work as one, together, for a common goal, in which we all benefit anyway as there is much more anyway for everyone.

Question or shared comment asked..
How does one know what the needs are from people who are not yet followers?

For every question, is an answer that lie right before our very noses. For example..

"How does one know what the needs are from people who are not yet followers."

You don't know me, and I have yet to know you, and still, you have followed me right here, watching the video and, now, asking the question, which identifies a need.

So my answer is simple..

The same way you just followed my video here and asked the question. The same way you may have got an email from BN, or saw someone post a link, about this video to have you watch here.

Hence, know the power of value. Provide relevant content (value) and follow the Alpha code...

"You must give every man and woman more in use value than he gives you in cash value,"

Plus....you asked this question, now guess how many want the answer. Now, all you got to do, is get the value, knowledge, apply, test out, get the result, test out again and suddenly you will scream..

"Blimey, it works!"

Then deliver this report as a video, showing each step without fear of loss, and show how it's done.  And if you followed the first question answer by networking online with like minded professioal network marketer's....you're work will go all over the place, and move traffic in.

So, one must over deliver and follow the code of..

"You must give every man and woman more in use value than he gives you in cash value,"

So now, you got a goldmine mate Bob. Answer the question and you will make a lot of people happy. Go for it. Give it as an ebook, show the result, provide a manual step by step. If you don't like doing an ebook, be creative, an article maybe, or a video, be yourself.

Next Question
The other point is how does just anyone write an ebook that everyone will find so helpful that they go out and tell everyone else about it? Very few have that talent but it is nice to beleive that anyone can do that.

I won't cater for everyone.  Know your niche audience group, create relevant content that "overdelivers," because it works when you..

Think for a moment. Value today, is like the law of supply to the demand. Fortunately for any Network Marketer, there is a lot of demand for value but little...supply. That's why no one today should be broke, penninless or having a hard time making money today.

They have a hard time because of lack of value. So, know your audience group, cater for one, and feed them. Feed them value and watch how they syndicate your work, pass your work all over the net, to have people see you know what you're talking about.

How To Get The Masses To Do Work For And BUY Your Book
I will show this in my next video, real life example:

1. I did a test. I wanted to see how this works. So I written a novel. I did each chapter in one of the most difficult subjects which is in our culture and most in this culture, can be tight in monies.

I written each chapter on the forum.

2. I kept going and suddenly, people started commenting.
3. I built relationship with those who commented.
4. They proof read my book, which made my life easier.
5. I got them engaged to tell me about their challenges. The book was about self development but I put in their culture, way of life. I did this by sitting with someone in that culture as well, and asked questions to kick off writing the novel.
6. I then added in the book, their challenges too with the solutions.
7. I created a capture page and said, "for updates etc etc." And they went for it. They even told their friends, and so on.
8. Book was completed and guess who bought the book? The people who proof read it, the people in the debate in forum and the people on the email list.
9. Educate, engage, enlighten and get them involved through the full process and as you do, they will share their questions, worries, what they want to know.

So go ahead, pick a niche that is profitable. I did my market research first, picked a forum that was buzzing, just one and they spread the word.

Hence....

"....give every man and woman more in use value than he gives you in cash value,"

Secondly, if you feel you ain't got the skill....network with someone who has. I network with bloggers who are network marketer's, and people got their own tv shows online, and people who are running their own courses etc.

network, network, network and build relationship but remember..

"They want something what's in it for themselves.."

So think what's in it for them when building networks with people.

I'll have a video soon showing the results of that forum, plus the published book.

I only used one forum. Imagine when I use twitter that way, and other social mediums. It starts with...value that people need. No matter what business, what social media tool..

It's always 20% will do more for you than the rest of the 80%. Ask any billion dollar company, ask any organisation, ask any business. They'll say..

"Yes, it's the few that bring the mass profits than the many sales people we have..."

So best to work smart.

Where's The Duplication Factor?

Great to read the comments, and congrats to Adam for a great video.  But are we talking about network marketing here  - or something else?  If we're talking about using this approach to grow a network marketing  business, I have to say it's an inferior strategy.  The reason is simple: it doesn't duplicate.

And duplication is the Number 1 key to network  marketing success.   How hard is it to for the average person to write a book for goodness sakes?  Or more accurately: how many are going to do it?

Forums like these often criticise traditional networking marketing methods, but the best of the traditional companies still outperform the internet marketing variants, by a country mile.

Don't get me wrong, I like to use the internet to generate leads, but for long term success, any methods adopted have to be simple and above all duplicable.   The reality is that many IM methods are complicated, time consuming, and slow to work.

I think it high time that we see past the hype and the gloss, and understand the limitations of the medium.  Bottom line: take a balanced approach to making money, and incorporate both online and offline methods.

Kim Willis — Fri, 04/10/2009 - 6:54am

On Duplication...

Thanks Kim.

We are talking about network marketing here  - or something else?
Yes, Network Marketing and any business.

Comment:
I think it high time that we see past the hype and the gloss, and understand the limitations of the medium.

The limitations is only yours. You set them.

The reason is simple: it doesn't duplicateAnd duplication is the Number 1 key to network  marketing success.

Let's look at this. We'll call this the Yes and No scenerio..

1. Can people learn to write an article, learn how to search for key words, upload their phot, profile for example in ezine articles?

Yes. This is duplicatable.

2. Can people learn to set up a blog, put their own photo, brand themselves, create articles of value to their audience. Do it consistently and paste a code from Aweber for people to be added to their list.

The answer is yes.

Not looking too good for you Kim. But let's move on..

3. Can people invest and learn about copywriting, and learn about human to human attraction, and write headlines catering to the needs of their audience group? Yes they can.

4. Can people create article newsletters of two paragraph, have about 15 ready, each leading the person nearer, and nearer to their goal of solving solutions, after solutions?

The answer is Yes.

5. Can people create a twitter account and then lead all the people on the list, that they got from creating a capture page, that written an articles after articles making sure of the keywords too, and they had value, and from the blogggers - and engage them, update them?

Yes.

6. Can people flip a camera and share knowledge on "how to talk on the phone" and how to do this, and how to do that, or how to look after the skin, or etc etc, depending on their audience needs, and upload them onto youtube?

Yes.

7. Can people talk to people online, comment on a post on digg, build alliance, friendship with the serious ones, and after a time, they trust each other, and come to a mutal agreement that will benefit them both, and help each other and edify each other, and the leads go to each other?

Yes.

8. Can people step up and learn PPC (Pay Per Click) that has a step by step video tutorials and also live support, or phone they can call and get live support?

Yes.

9. Can people learn SEO......that again...has a step by step video tutorials and also live support, or phone they can call and get live support??

Yes.

Am I missing something? Looking at all the things you said cannot be duplicatable here  looks very duplicatable. It is duplicatable.

Forums like these often criticise traditional networking marketing methods, but the best of the traditional companies still outperform the internet marketing variants, by a country mile.
Great. Then these traditional network marketer's got nothing to fear, have they? They got nothing to be upset about when other people talk about old methods, and traditional old school techniques. So, that's great then.

So they got nothing to cry about, worry or complain. They should be laughing their head off and relaxed in the Bahamas or wherever they like to swim in and relax.

Now...here's the thing. For you to say, it is not duplicatable, you must have applied this. Full on, 100%. If you haven't, than you cannot say it's not duplicatable.

It is not duplicatable as you say because of the learning, it's slow etc etc. Ask 100 Network Marketer's of old and new school, who have been in business for 3 years, if they are making $5,000 a month.

If they say yes, then ask what they did they change. Brace yourself because it's a lot of what they thought they couldn't and wouldn't want to do. That is...LEARN new skills even if they didn't like to and talking to MORE people and doing MORE calls.

How hard is it to for the average person to write a book for goodness sakes?  Or more accurately: how many are going to do it?
Let's change this. How many out there that can write an ebook and will do so? Network with them. Problem solved.

We need to stop telling people what they may not be able to do, and start saying to them what they CAN and believe MORE in their abilities.

1. People didn't question to go and study and learn new things, and grab a degree, to write an essay that can be a report, an ebook. But now we suddenly say they may not be able to write an ebook??? Give me a break.

We're not telling people to be another JK Rowling. Just research, type the facts without dribble. Facts that people in their audience group are looking for. The "How To." Value.

Treat people not the way you want to be treated, but treat them the way THEY want to be treated. And they want value and how to without dribble and talk on who is best

2. How many here, had to learn a new skill so they can get a job, or how to learn a new skill in the job? Nearly everyone. So you're telling me they can't learn write an ebook?

How many learnt to drive a car. Why? Because they needed to. Or should we say to everyone, "it's not duplicatable?"

Same goes here. Let's not mix laziness, procrastination, lack of investing in knowledge and training with "it's not duplicatable."

3. How many sit with new workers they never met before, and said hi, and helped their mate in finding what they want? The value they needed? Or done it for the company they work for?

So they can't do that in figuring out what their audience need and network with someone who can write an ebook?

How many wanted to marry someone or go out with someone? How many came out with creative, foxy ideas that got the person in their lives? Is that duplicatable?

How To Write An Ebook Without Typing A Word...

1. Find someone who does and network with them. Come to a mutal agreement.

2. Talk on microphone and use a free software and plenty out there. save it as mp3 and send it to be transcribed.

Take a balanced approach to making money, and incorporate both online and offline methods.

Agreed, if you mean calling people on phone, but I don't call. I hire a company do the calling. I never had a CEO of a company call me. It would be their personal assistant or their staff.

Agreed if you mean networking such as BNI or other organisations where Network Marketer's, other home business go to and network. I don't agree droppping the conversation of business at dinner, or with friends.
